Yikes it's a Sykes' Warbler

Just thought I'd put in a quick post about the Sykes' Warbler found in Burrafirth by Rory and Will. If anyone is interested in photos for publishing then get in touch, these are much reduced as I am on dialup, high res versions are available, contact me on:   info "at" amwphotos.co.uk

Thanks lads for finding a stunner.

Storm and Leachs' Petrel ringing report to follow shortly :-)

  4. Awesome pictures - you should get in touch with Jim Martin at A&C Black who are publishing the new 'Reed & Bush Warblers' - I'm sure one of these would make it...

  5. Cheers for all the comments :-) Reed and Bush Warblers has gone to print, and they've stopped accepting photos for the Handbook of Western Palearctic Birds (vol 1 Passerines), but:

"there may still be time for absolutely thumping pics, such as your Sykes'"

So that is very exciting! Keep a look out in British Birds, Birding World, Birdwatch and Birdwatching!
